Priestley - inventor of the plastic bottle
Priestley - inventor of the plastic bottle
Outside Birmingham's Central Library (soon to be an ex library) stands this statue of Priestley, one of the founders of chemistry and proud possessor of a plastic drinks bottle. It's quite a way up there and I don't think it's merely been thrown up there.
