SJ2474 : The Point on Flint Marsh

taken 11 years ago, near to Flint, Flintshire/Sir y Fflint, Great Britain

The Point on Flint Marsh
The Point on Flint Marsh
The outermost point of Flint Marsh projecting into the Dee Estuary. The outline shown on the O.S. map seems to be that of the raised area behind the stony 'beach', and the spit of stones projecting into the estuary is not shown, although it is visible on Windows Local Live. The post on the point is a depth gauge and is quite substantial close to.
