St Thomas's Church seen from The Quadrangle
The Quadrangle is formed by the buildings in The University complex. The Grade II* listed church was built by the Trustees of the St. Mary Magdalene and Holy Jesus Hospitals to replace the mediaeval chapel at the end of Tyne Bridge. Work was carried out during 1825-30 supervised by John Dobson.
