Limestone and Fossils
Limestone and Fossils
This piece of carboniferous limestone stuffed full of fossils is part of the foreshore defences protecting the area known as Flint Marsh. It possibly came from the Halkyn mountain area at the time the River Dee was canalised in 1737.
