Rising floodwater at dawn
The winter solstice, the shortest day of the year and the River Severn is rising again and beginning to flood the playing fields beside New Road in Worcester. Whilst watching this scene I could see the water rising, six hours later it looked like this SO8454 : A flooded playing field
Notwithstanding all the technical babble, what an evocative picture of days at the cricket in Worcester, and a unique record of the effects of the 'Great Flood'! Good on ya Nige.
