SX1062 : Paddington train passing Slip Wood late afternoon

Paddington train passing Slip Wood late afternoon
Paddington train passing Slip Wood late afternoon
A Penzance to Paddington service heads up the Fowey Valley, next stop Bodmin Road. The River Fowey is behind the photographer on the right. Longish shadows indicate the sun is lower in the sky and it is tea time. Slip Wood is behind the train. The telegraph poles and wires at the time spoil the view; they are long gone as are the loco and coaches that formed this train.
