Carn Edward consists of two natural rocky outcrops which form a landmark southwest of Carningli as one proceeds across Carningli Common. There are some hut circles not far away and a footpath passes close by. This view across Cwm Clydach shows the peak of Cerrig Lladron to the SSE.
