Raeburn Place Clubhouse
Raeburn Place Clubhouse
The Clubhouse of the Edinburgh Academicals Rugby Club as viewed from Portgower Place. The sign on the side of the building reads "Raeburn Place, Academical Field, First Opened for Play 17th May 1854".

The first international rugby match in the world (between Scotland and England) was played at this ground.

The actual playing field can be seen in NT2474 : Inverleith Pond. The pavilion can also be seen from a different angle.
