Ufton Lock and Swing Bridge
Ufton Lock and Swing Bridge
Ufton Lock only had a fall of about 1 foot, so has now been de-gated and the levels are the same both sides. The swing bridge has been mechanised as it carries a high volume of traffic. A few hundred yards to the north (left) is the railway crossing where the Ufton Nervet railway accident occurred.
