SP9210 : Dangerous Tree, Dawes Meadow

taken 11 years ago, near to Tring, Hertfordshire, Great Britain

Dangerous Tree, Dawes Meadow
Dangerous Tree, Dawes Meadow
There is a fence encircling this tree to prevent anyone getting too near in case one of the branches snaps off and lands on their head. Well that's the idea - but it seems to be withstanding the weight of all this snow without a problem.
[Edit Sep 2014] Sadly this rather fine tree has been reduced to stump, no doubt in the interests of Health & Safety SP9210 : A danger no longer
