The industrial estate, Marshgate Trading Estate, consists of several hundred businesses both large and small. Many deal with recycling waste, or car parts and much other redundant stuff. All will be served CPO's and will move to sites on the outskirts of north and east London, probably onto other brownfield sites. Meanwhile work had begun creating tunnels for electricity, water and sewage services which have to be hidden.
