Chatterley Whitfield colliery
Chatterley Whitfield colliery
This view shows part of all four surviving head gears. This site was a museum until financial difficulties forced its closure. It faces a very uncertain future as its conservation would be vastly expensive. Meanwhile it and its on-site security guards wait patiently for the future.
