TQ5890 : Galanthophile's Delight

taken 11 years ago, near to Great Warley, Essex, England

Galanthophile's Delight
Galanthophile's Delight
I am told there are at least sixteen identifiable species of snowdrop in Warley Place nature reserve LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) . However those Galanthophiles (snowdrop lovers) who examine the blooms with hand lens and flower key believe there may be over a hundred types of natural hybrids or types produced through experiment by Ellen Wilmot’s LinkExternal link gardeners that never got as far as being named. The rock in the background is not native to Essex but is part of a TQ5890 : Water Feature!
