Winterbourne is the botanic garden at the University of Birmingham. Visitors to the gardens are given a sticker to wear. There seems to be a tradition developing (presumably among students) of putting these stickers on lamp posts along Edgbaston Park Road. Here a layer of stickers has been crudely painted over with green paint, with fresh stickers being added on top.
