SN1746 : The Mwldan stream

taken 11 years ago, near to Cardigan/Aberteifi, Ceredigion/Sir Ceredigion, Great Britain

The Mwldan stream
The Mwldan stream
Hard to believe now that this little brook was once used by seagoing boats that were able to sail up from the Teifi estuary on the high tide to the warehouses and shipyards that lined this waterway. The river and the stream have silted up and the old commercial buildings have fallen into disuse or are otherwise employed.
