These monuments are well seen when you enter the village from the west. The road to Peebles can be seen in the background. The Little Man is a soldier which was a part of the original War Memorial which was stolen in 1998 and The Old Mill Bell which must be about four feet high came from one of the old mills which used to be found all over this village
