TR0563 : Looking east from Graveney Hill

taken 11 years ago, near to Graveney, Kent, Great Britain

Looking east from Graveney Hill
Looking east from Graveney Hill
Graveney Hill may be only a few metres above sea level but the different possibilities for land use are quite marked. The lower lying levels in the middle distance are only good for grazing - and that only since the sea wall was built. The field in the foreground, at 5 to 10 metres above sea level will grow a crop. The flattish plateau on the marsh is Denly Hill in TR0663.
