An unusual visitor at Salisbury
During extensive engineering work at Reading Station over the Easter Weekend in 2013, all High Speed Trains between Penzance & London were diverted via Warminster & Wilton Junction on to the Southern lines, terminating at London Waterloo. Return working was over the same route. Up trains ran through Platform 2 at Salisbury, Down trains through either Platform 3 or Platform 4.
