Holbeck Ghyll Hotel
This hotel was bought by Lord Lonsdale as a hunting lodge in 1888. Lord Lonsdale was known as the "Yellow Earl" because of his liking for the colour, and he founded the Automobile Association which adopted his livery. He also donated the original Lonsdale Belts for boxing.
