The Bronwen Nixon Footbridge bronze
The Bronwen Nixon Footbridge bronze
The bronze depicts an otter and is situated near a footbridge across the River Rothay. (I assume the glove was dropped, found and left there for the owner to pick up.) Bronwen Nixon was one of the original proprietors of the Rothay Manor Hotel which stands nearby. She was murdered in her own cottage in the grounds of her hotel during the closed season of 1986. Her killer, David Wynn Roberts had committed a previous murder at the age of 14.
