Tyrley 2nd Lock, Shropshire Union Canal
The narrow boat 'Susan' is ascending the Tyrley flight of locks, and after this one, will have just one more to do before reaching the idyllic long section, with just one lock between Tyrley Top and Wolverhampton. In 1965 when this photograph was taken, canal boating for pleasure had not yet become so popular as it certainly is today.
