Sango Island
Sango Island
The image subject is within grid square SX4253, the photographer (me) was too.
You can clearly see at close range the main geographical feature which is Sango Island - with its splendid unspoilt sand formation. As the tide was out, I was able to trudge across to it to take this picture. A short description of this square would be that a small hill can also be seen in the centre across the mudflats, as can the estuary which goes up to St. John to the right, and the tree-lined inlet to the left of the hill which goes up to the village of Penhale. The image is a natural image as a human (me) saw it today. I have avoided digitally altering the image and hope you enjoy the unspoilt nature of this part of the world.
