NT1279 : Suspension Action

taken 13 years ago, near to Forth Road Bridge, Edinburgh, Great Britain

Suspension Action.
Suspension Action.
Near the middle of the Forth Bridge , an example of the connections between the suspension cables and the deck frame. The weight of the deck, road and vehicles are all held through these. Recent repair and maintenance is visible with a zinc based galvanising treatment. The whole bridge has been repainted recently with long delays due to weekend lane closures.
