Beach, reef and tombolo, Sea Palling

The reef and tombolo cross the boundary between TG4227 and TG4327, but the majority lies in the former. Nine reefs were constructed between 1993 and 1997. Several now have tombolos joining them to the shore. Research projects on this stretch of coast are based at the University of East Anglia among others.
