A geographical feature around here could be said to be 'rain' - and when there's lots of it - it sometimes collects in puddles like this one. This maybe due to the fact that the soil is compacted from the heavy machinery travelling over it - like tractors. The field beyond can clearly be seen as indicated on the grid square.
