Gateway and CBMS buildings
Gateway and CBMS buildings
Two of the most prominent buildings on the outskirts of St Andrews are the Gateway Building on the left and the university's Centre for Biomolecular Sciences (CBMS) on the right. The Gateway was finished in 2000 and had a troubled start due to financial problems and lay empty for some time then had short term tenants. Today it is used by the university's management department as office space. The CBMS behind it is one of several buildings in a group know collectively as the North Haugh, all part of the university.
