From near the junction of the SK4263 : Five Pits Trail with Locko Lane the photograph shows the most northerly of three entrances into Lock Plantation from the trail.
The path through the trees leads to the northern end of the largest open space that has been cut into the SK4263 : Locko Plantation.

To the right the trail crosses Locko Lane to continue northward toward Timber Lane.
To the left the SK4263 : Five Pits Trail continues in a southerly direction toward SK4262 : Station Road in Pilsley.
