Grotto Wood
Grotto Wood
Grotto Wood occupies the site of a 17th or early 18th century formal garden. The garden was associated with Roxford Manor (now the site of Roxford Farm). The wood contains the rather forlorn remains of three ornamental pools and a series of mounds. The grotto itself is long gone. The site is now a nature reserve.
