High Water
High Water
A spring tide of 9.6m at Arnside resulted in the road becoming impassable to traffic for two hours or more. Those that do attempt it are very lucky to arrive at the other side of the flood without incurring some inconvenience, as at the road's lowest point it will be under two feet or more of salt water.
