A restored bank of 7 lime kilns, built in the early part of the 19th century to exploit local minerals and in a position to make the most of the canal for bringing in the raw materials and to take away the finished product. Left in a ruinous state for decades they were finally restored in 2000. It is said that half of Moira's population was conceived here!
