Ffestiniog Power Station
Ffestiniog Power Station
Looking down from near the summit of Moel-yr-Hydd. This is a pumped storage station, using the reservoir to hold water to be pumped to a higher reservoir [Stwlan] during off-peak times, and released down through turbines to create electricity during peak times.
