Remains of Railway siding above Clavell's Hard
The remains of old quarry works can be seen at several places along the coast. There must have been a railway siding here at some time in the past, but the cliff has fallen away. The average rate of cliff retreat in this area (Kimmeridge Clay) is reported as 39m in 100 years.
