The Tilted Vase
Also known as the "Grecian urn" it was created by Edward Allington and placed into position on 26th July 1998.
Made out of bronze the sculpture weighs 2 tons and occupies a central location on the site of the original market place.
But not everyone was happy when it was erected see [dead link removed]
The three storey hotel to the right is SD7917 : The Grant Arms Hotel
