'Clootie' Well, Munlochy, Black Isle
The rag well at Munlochy is one of two in the district, the other being at Culloden. More common in Ireland, these wells are still resorted to as 'sympathetic magic' destinations whereby an afflicted person leaves strips of clothing in hopes that their ailments will be cured by substitution.
