Marrs Beck near Hovingham.
Marrs Beck near Hovingham.
The Gilling gap between the Howardian and Hambleton Hills is an ill defined watershed and it is not always easy to tell if a stream is running east or west. Marrs Beck is one of several sluggish little streams heading eastwards to join the Rye/Derwent system.
