St. Cecilia's, Adstock
St. Cecilia's, Adstock
This lovely little church is in the attractive village of Adstock, which benefits from being half a mile from the main A413. The oldest part of the church is the nave which dates back to the C12th, while the chancel (nearest part of building) dates from c.1330, though the church was much restored in 1875. The C14th windows in the chancel are of the Decorated Gothic period, though the tracery is comparatively simple for that period. For more information see LinkExternal link
The church is EH Grade I listed LinkExternal link
