Crookrise
Crookrise
Famed gritstone crag above Skipton. Got gomled [GOML=get off my land] here once because of fire risk (I could have undergone spontaneous combustion). No problems on this occasion as it started raining almost as soon as anyone left the ground. The route is Route 1. A usual gritstone mix of delicate slabs and muscular thuggery.
