Belted Galloways at Faulston
Belted Galloways are a hardy breed that originated on the exposed uplands of Galloway in south west Scotland. They have a double coat - long hair to shed the rain and a soft undercoat for warmth. Colours are black, dun and red and all have the distinctive white wrap-around band. The breed is known for its docility, mothering ability and meat quality.
