A beautiful old house built circa 1681 that dominates the crossroads at Four Wents near Hawkhurst in Kent. The name Four Wents manifests itself at crossroads all over England; sometimes as Four Ways, Four Wants or Four Wantz. There is a Four Throws not so far from here and,surely there are other variations too.
