Drainage Ditch by Chapel Road, Goldcliff, taken 10 years ago
After the amazingly wet February weather in 2007, drainage ditches like this all over the Caldicot Levels were full, many to bursting. Made me very aware of the potential consequences of rising sea levels - the Severn Estuary is but 1km from where I'm standing.

At high tide much of the land in Goldcliff is below sea level.
