Approaching Bretford
Approaching Bretford
The River Avon frequently floods at this location, which is why this raised walkway is provided to the south of Bretford Bridge alongside the A428. Later the same day, the flood water was to rise sufficiently to block the road. The bridge itself is single-track and controlled by traffic lights.
