Seen clearly on the O.S. 25,000 scale map, these walls bound a triangle of land adjacent to the minor road below Moel-y-Faen. There are a couple of shapes like this on this small section of road with no obvious purpose. Possibly the lumps and bumps in the ground indicate very early quarrying or mining.
