taken 13 years ago, near to Birmingham, England
Methodist Central Hall, Corporation Street, Birmingham
A splash of brilliant red, like the courts over the road (
SP0787 : Victoria Law Courts, Corporation Street, Birmingham), even after having been dulled by more than a hundred years of city life. By Ewen & J. Alfred Harper, 1900-03. It is clad entirely in terracotta, and its tower is mightily impressive. Grade II* listed.
