Midmar Old Kirk
Memorial plaque. The inscriptions read: 'Add Glory to the Past'. Old Midmar Kirk is the burial place of the Bel family of local Aberdeenshire master masons. They were the practical architects of Midmar, Castle Fraser, Crathes, Craigievar and Fyvie. While George the father died in 1575, the sons John Bel and David Bel continued the work into the 17th century.
