Gatwick Airport in 1970
Gatwick Airport in 1970
A nostalgic picture of a Dan-Air Airspeed Ambassador at Gatwick in 1970 (or possibly 1971). In those days there was just one terminal with three finger piers, and the public could walk along the tops of the piers to watch the aircraft and passengers. This was taken from the terminal end of the central pier.
