Drummond Place Police Box
Drummond Place Police Box
One of Edinburgh's distinctive police boxes stands guard over the entrance to the private gardens of Drummond Place. There are still many of these police boxes in the city, and some of them have been converted to alternative uses such as coffee kiosks. The boxes were designed in the 1930s by the then City Architect, E J MacRae, to complement the classical architecture of the city.
