Iron Keld
The size of the field trees can be seen in the stump girth in the foreground. The spindle trees in the near distance were left after deforestation, to return Iron Keld to its original moor landscape. However just after deforestation a storm came and blew most of the remaining trees over. The area now looks like a bomb has landed. The lake in the distance is Windermere.
