SE3518 : A Freightliner coal train

taken 12 years ago, near to Walton, Wakefield, Great Britain

A Freightliner coal train
A Freightliner coal train
A Canadian built GM diesel owned by Freightliner accelerates away from Wakefield with a loaded coal train.
These modern hopper wagons were built in Eastern Europe and carry imported coal. Such is business these days - a global economy. Parts of Wakefield can be seen in the background. The stone arch is part of a road overbridge. The image was taken from a Public footpath which crosses this railway line via a footbridge.
