Tate and Lyle Factory
Tate and Lyle Factory
Side view. Taken near the level crossing across the disused "Silvertown Tramway" - the original 1847 railway line to North Woolwich replaced in 1855 by the line North and East of the Victoria dock, but retained as a goods line serving local factiories. See TQ4280 : Tate and Lyle Sugar Refinery, Silvertown 1974 for a similar view from the 1970s.
