Cob Cottage
Cob Cottage
The cottage is being renovated. Cob-building is a traditional technique that has been used for thousands of years. The cob walls are made from the sandy clay based subsoil, mixed with straw and water, either by people shovelling or stomping the mixture, or by using animals to trample it in.
